Website Design
There is a growing fascination with all of the developing bells and whistles available to web designers. At Acree Creative, we believe that a website must first take into account who will be using the site, not how cool the 14-year-old web whiz thinks it would be to have a dozen things happening on the page simultaneously.
If you are designing a site for kids, then it makes sense to use every tool available to keep their attention. But, for most of us, we use the web to get information and we don’t want to have to download a dozen plug-ins to get the thing to work.
Understanding the who, how and why of your target audience is the first and only concern when it comes to designing a site.
When you are ready to take your business online, consider the value of experience in marketing, as well as cool design. Each site is planned and designed to meet the needs of the business and its target audience. Why will the typical visitor come to the site? How will they use it? What is their expected level of technical ability? Every project is different, so one solution never fits all. This is exactly why bargain websites rarely get the job done.
If the job of a website today is so important, why give it so little thought? A good website in today’s marketplace is one of the best investments you will make.
