A Message to Our Friends

For 35 years I have been in the advertising business, one way of the other. The decision to close my agency was a difficult one made easier by the knowledge that the next step will be better in every way.

As some of you know two years ago I launched a magazine venture out of the agency. I expected it would be just another project and would have little impact on my routine.

As Texoma Living! Magazine is well into its third year I have come to the conclusion that it is publishing that I want to do for the remainder of my career.

Publishing this city magazine (and perhaps others) brings all of my advertising, media, design and writing skills to the task. There is quick gratification and the good feelings that go with creating something that people love to read.

We have hit our stride and are profitable, so I can now let the agency work go, and concentrate on improving the magazine, and perhaps launching others like it.

I'm having fun again and it has been a while.
